Packages graphics/drm-kmod & graphics/drm-612-kmod are missing from 2026q3 quarterly repo

Hi Novice users are failing to install graphics-drivers using a fresh deployed 15.1 ( 15.1p3) FreeBSD image, as the linuxkpi 6.12 corresponding Direct Rendering Manager driver biniaries are missing from the quarterly repository. It was expected that the 2026q3 quarterly repository would be usable for 15.1 users. However DRM-6.12 drivers are missing. Newer Generation graphics-cards and embedded graphics require the 6.12 linuxkpi drivers. Specifically the Metaport drm-kmod the linuxkpi 6.12 port for 15.1 drm-612-kmod the Nvidia DRM metaport nvidia-drm-kmod the Nvidia 6.12 port for 15.1 nvidia-drm-612-kmod As these are missing from the ports-kmods REPO used by the standard 15.1 FreeBSD image. Graphics drivers installation is very difficult. I am advising users to install the drivers from an updated Ports distribution almost every day. Both on the Forums and on Discord.
