Anyone know why https://admin.gmane.io for this list has "encode encrypt" set?

To see the setting:
Go to: https://admin.gmane.io
In the first (left most) box enter freebsd
In the next box to the right enter: pkg
Select in the box below select:
gmane.os.freebsd.devel.pkg freebsd-pkg@freebsd.org
(even if there is only one item shown)
Looks at the line above "Project URL": it shows "encode" and "encrypt"
This leads to text like:
QUOTE of examples:
bugzilla-noreply-HZy0K5TPuP5AfugRpC6u6w@public.gmane.org
pkg-HZy0K5TPuP5AfugRpC6u6w@public.gmane.org
Problem reports for pkg-HZy0K5TPuP5AfugRpC6u6w@public.gmane.org that
need special attention
END QUOTE
It is trying to make the text anonymous.
The other lists I've looked at are not configured this
way.
My guess here is that someone officially tied to the FreeBSD
organization would need to make any change request for what
the status of "encode" should be for any list.
Generalizing beyond just freebsd-pkg@ as additional oddities (some of
which apply to freebsd-pkg@ as well) . . .
Another issue is that almost everything Ive looked at
indicates mailman use instead of mlmmj use. But
"gmane.os.freebsd.current.scm dev-commits-src-main@freebsd.org"
indicates "mlmmj+" . (Is the "+" being there incorrect?)
("mailman" leads to emails with instructions for mailman instead being
for mlmmj.)
"gmane.os.freebsd.architechture freebsd-arch@freebsd.org" is
an example were the "Project URL" is empty. There are others,
such as for freebsd-arm@freebsd.org . Sometimes the project
URL is an old mailman URL for the list. Other times it is
more generic for freebsd.org .
Some selections list alias lines, such as:
"gmane.os.freebsd.devel.cvs.ports dev-commits-ports-all@FreeBSD.org"
listing:
alias cvs-ports@freebsd.org
alias ports-committers@freebsd.org
alias svn-ports-all@freebsd.org
alias svn-ports-branches@freebsd.org
alias cvs-ports@freebsd.org
Some aliases tend to be for distinct things, rather than alternate
namiing for the same thing.
