Confirming the issue,
This showstopper issue is years old, and people are still guessing.
I finally made the effort to look into this code.
I wasted a few hours trying to understand this convoluted spaghetti and now
understand well why nobody wants to touch this.
The bad thing with these bugs is that pkgng can snap every time when one uses
it.
After this often no more software installs are possible, rendering a system
unusable and forcing new install.
The rest of FreeBSD can be so good, it is useless if the chance to break it by
merely installing an app is high.
