No, that's a bad idea.

The PR currently correctly reflects the state of the feature request. That is,
it's been requested but has not been implemented and is not currently on the
list of items I plan to work on.

It also contains useful pointers for someone who wants to work on it.

If we close this all that will happen is that someone else will come along with
the same feature request, who will open a new ticket, without any of the useful
information in this one.
