If PERL5_DEFAULT set by DEFAULT_VERSIONS matches the version of perl5 that is
installed, it seems that it cannot be uninstalled by make deinstall.
That is because the result of
make -C /usr/ports/lang/perl5.40/ -V _PKGS 
changes to perl5.
When make deinstall is used, different version must be set :)
make -C /usr/ports/lang/perl5.40/ DEFAULT_VERSIONS=perl5=5.38 deinstall
