This probably doesn't work without setting default perl5 version before (e.g.
5.36) and after (e.g. 5.40) running 'make deinstall'.

# make deinstall
===>  Deinstalling for perl5
===>   perl5 not installed, skipping

That's why I've suggested 'pkg delete -f perl5.40-5.40.2_2'.
