Hello,

I have a question about PKGNAMEPREFIX in japanese/p5-*.

The following result makes ja- look unnecessary.

# pwd
/usr/ports
# ls -d
{arabic,chinese,french,german,hebrew,hungarian,japanese,korean,russian,ukrainian,vietnamese}/*/
| grep p5 | perl -nlE 'chmop; printf "%-50s%s", $_, `grep PKGNAMEPREFIX
$_/Makefile`||"\n"'

It would be useful if it was a PKGNAMEPREFIX to avoid conflicts, but
that doesn't seem to be the case.
Instead, it seems to be an obstacle to natural guessing of the package
name.

Shouldn't the useless LANG-CC(ja-) be removed?

Are there any rules that use LANG-CC?

I believe that compatibility and convention are important.
At the very least, I want to clear up any doubts I may have when
creating future ports.

Thanks,
