I am closing this bug as not reproducible. Both fluffy and grahamperrin
independently tried and failed to reproduce the desktop locking behavior. The
reporter was on FreeBSD 12.3 (EOL) with old versions of both MATE and
LibreOffice. Both desktops and LibreOffice have been updated significantly
since, and the issue was never confirmed by anyone else.
