I still struggle with this on 15-STABLE (from 2026-09-20) using the ixl in-tree
driver... could not fire both jails with iavf interfaces and a passthrough for
a bhyve-vm (running linux).
As a matter of fact using any passthrough in the VM (even with another NIC)
triggers Malicious driver events and disables the VFs
