With one is impossible I think because virtualized RDMA devices never really worked well, or… I’m unaware of it...

Also there’s no “loopback” for RDMA.

You can use one machine if you have two cards. This works, but both cards must be connected between them, in a point to point network.

If you want I can arrange access to our testing servers. We have not only IB but also RoCEv2.
