--- Comment #3 from S.Haupt <freebsd@m-eng.net> ---
I can confirm that this bug is already present in FreeBSD 14.4.

My Setup:

Switch-01
Wire
Host-A.bnxt0 - Host-A.vlan01 - Host-A.bridge1 - Host-A.vxlan2 - Host-A.bnxt3
Wire
Host-B.ix0 - Host-B.vxlan2 - Host-B.bridge1 - Host-B.vlan01 - Host-B.bge1
Wire
Switch-02

When I ping from Switch-01 to Switch-02, I can see ARP "Request who-has" and
"ARP Replay" on Host-B.ix0. However, the ARP replay packages never arrive at
Host-A.bnxt3. The length field of the ARP replay was 42.

I changed the setup and replaced Host-B.ix0 with Host-B.bge0 and everything
worked as expected.

Therefore, I suggest to rise the importance of this bug from "affects only me"
to "Affects many people".

I found other bug reports in bugzilla that sound very similiar and may have the
same root cause. So, maybe the bugs 268365, 191700, and 276936 describe the
same problem.

Has the attached patch already been merged into FreeBSD 14 and FreeBSD 15?
