Hi Florian, just to be sure: Did you try unmounting your ZFS mounts from the
jail?
I also have an issue that the jail is dying, but I can unmount the ZFS datasets
manually and the jail actually stops after that.
Before my patch the jail would stay in the dying state even when unmounting
manually.
I changed my config to not set jailed=on and just change the mountpoint in and
out of the jail with exec.created and exec.release.
This way I was able to do about 80 starts and stops with zero dying jails.

Also make sure the root path of the jail is NOT in the fstab of the jail.
I suspect a race condition with that, with a delay of 2 seconds unmounting the
root path is possible automagically, with no delay that fails.

In a nutshell: without my patch the jails hangs due to the vnet, with my patch
there are other but smaller issues with the mounts.
