Well, the plot thickens... on one system I have

em1: flags=8802<BROADCAST,SIMPLEX,MULTICAST> metric 0 mtu 1500       
options=4e504bb<RXCSUM,TXCSUM,VLAN_MTU,VLAN_HWTAGGING,JUMBO_MTU,VLAN_HWCSUM,LRO,VLAN_HWFILTER,VLAN_HWTSO,RXCSUM_IPV6,TXCSUM_IPV6,HWSTATS,MEXTPG>

i.e., MEXTPG is listed instead of NOMAP.  I don't understand how, the string
"MEXTPG" doesn't appear anywhere in the ifconfig sources, but I do see "NOMAP".
