I have a very similar issue: I passted a vcxl interface (a Chelsio specific
virtual interface) to a vnet jail and the jail gets stuck in dying unless i
always remove the interface from the jail before destroying the jail. This
means anything but persistent jails are a timebomb. Once the jail is stuck in
dying state I can't revive it (trying to reuse the JID renumbers the dying
jail) and trying to take the interface out of the dying jail is also not
possible.
