That is the exact problem I see here if you have only one NIC. In my setup I
have mostly two NICs, but not always. Will really breaks reliable network
setups. Call me stupid, but I don't understand the reasoning behind it. I can
see usecases where NIC AND bridge have their own IP addresses and services
running on. What about firewalls separate on the NIC and on the bridge?
