The problem exists with all versions of FreeBSD. 14.2 had the problem, 14.3 has
the problem will 15.0 (15-CURRENT) have the problem. The patch will resolve the
problem but there is an issue with the patch that I don't understand yet. After
waking a machine with the patch a subsequent poweroff will immediately wake the
machine. Whereas an intermediate reboot clears some register in the BGE chipset
circumventing the problem.

Apply this patch to your 14.3 machine.
