Perhaps pics work better than words. I am adding one documenting how badly
broken the IPv6 experience is with this faulty series of patches applied for
some users and what's the scope of the regressions. 

I believe this is not the experience you want to force on FreeBSD users and
blame downstream for that.

The difference between broken and working states in those pictures? Well, it's
already been mentioned in Comment #46. Hopefully these reports will be taken
more seriously in the future.
