It's consistent with my observations of keyboard interaction vis ssh.
Input sometimes stop echoing for tens of seconds, then all goes through
after the pause. Maybe this really has little or nothing to do with the
network, it's just that all my interaction with the two machines is via
the network. Neither has had a console and keyboard since I got the Pi4.
