On my FreeBSD 13/HPE ProLiant N36L with the latest WOL patch I did the
following test:

1. wake

2. shutdown -h now, went down to halt state and stayed there

3. cycled power

4. shutdown -p now

5. wake, succeful

Let me know if you want me to do the test differently.
