https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=299359 --- Comment #2 from Tatsuki Makino <tatsuki_makino@hotmail.com> --- (In reply to Christos Margiolis from comment #1) The reason I think the parts of this patch involving the variable chan->sysctl.through_timing_clock are necessary seems to be exactly the same as the reason why the '-t' option is implemented in mididump :) When mididump is run by default, there is no output related to the timing clock, but with the following command there is output, and it seems there is no way to stop it. midicat -d -o /dev/null -q rmidi/0 aseqdump -p 1:0 jack_umidi -d /dev/umidi0.0 -n jack_midi & jack_midi_dump & jack_connect jack_midi-umidi0.0:midi.TX midi-monitor:input Active sensing also occurs every 300 ms, but it flushes the characters on the terminal. It seems that it would be difficult to use it to check the survival of devices if multiple devices are connected and used with a single software. In such cases, is it conceivable to stop active sensing only for devices that do not require a check for survival? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
