Back in April, almost 3 months ago, I reported in bug 270888
<https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=270888> that I was no
longer able to load the firmware on my laptop with 'Alder Lake-UP3 GT2
[Iris Xe Graphics]'. Is there any hope of a working firmware for Alder Lake
systems? While drm-515-kmod provides basic functionality, there is no
acceleration. If I try viewing a video with mpv, I get:
libEGL warning: DRI2: failed to authenticate
error: Kernel is too old (4.16+ required) or unusable for Iris.
Check your dmesg logs for loading failures.

Anyone have any hope?
