The port audio/lame offers only this:
===> The following configuration options are available for lame-3.100_3:
     DOCS=on: Build and/or install documentation
===> Use 'make config' to modify these settings

And ffmpeg works happily with my handmade lame built not from ports but from
source.

So what to do now? Closing this PR and open a new one for audio/lame?
