Panzura, https://panzura.com/, the company for which I work, is looking
to hire several software developers / programmers.

The work can be remote only or remote first depending on candidate's
location. The company will prefer candidates in time zones covering
Europe or close (let's say from GMT-1 to GMT+4) for logistic reasons.
But that's not a strict requirement.

The work would be on a FreeBSD-based appliance. Expect that 90% of work
will be on proprietary code, but there will be some FreeBSD and ZFS work
too. We have a lot of kernel code and userland code. The code mostly
revolves around storage and networking (including cloud), but it also
includes many bells and whistles from different domains.

Most of the code is C, there is some C++, Python and Go (and shell
scripts, of course).

There is some "green field" type of work from time to time, but at the
moment most of the work is on (extending, fixing, improving,
maintaining) the existing mature code.

Desired experience and skills:
- ZFS programming
- FreeBSD programming (in a sense of developing FreeBSD code)
   - kernel
   - userland
- storage programming in C / C++ (drivers, file systems, etc)
- debugging / troubleshooting
- performance analysis
- systems programming in C / C++ on "Unix"
- network programming in C / C++ on "Unix"
- general programming in C / C++

If you are interested or would like some additional details please
contact me directly.
I am not responsible for hiring decisions (and compensation, etc), but I
may be one of technical interviewers. And I am doing a kind of initial
screening (pre-screening maybe) of candidates.

P.S.
