I am closing this bug because the proposed approach (building apache-ant from
source) was explicitly rejected by glewis@FreeBSD.org (Java team maintainer),
citing well-documented historical problems with building Java ports from
source. The ASF member michael.osipov also seconded this position. The patch
targets ant 1.10.6 from 2019 and is massively outdated. There is no consensus
to change the Java ports policy on this matter.
