I just submitted https://reviews.freebsd.org/D58863.

Now I need more testers.

The driver is AMD64-only. Since Intel ME does not expose a PCI ID that the driver can attach to when ME is disabled, the driver also scans the platform for its presence.

I tested it on most AMD generations, from Athlon-era machines all the way to the Ryzen AI Cpus.

On Intel, I tested machines ranging from 2005 up through 14th Gen. Most Apple computer (2006-2020)

Beyond 14th Gen, we enter unexplored territory. I do not have the hardware, so those values are currently taken from coreboot. More testers with newer Intel machines would be very useful.

As I wrote in the initial email, this is a debug probe. Its job is simply to tell us whether the Intel coprocessor is there and doing something. It does not try to manage it.

It was actually a fun driver to write. Along the way, I found quite a few machines that could be interesting coreboot targets, and even discovered some computers that are apparently still in manufacturing mode.

Once, or if, this lands in FreeBSD, I will update my `intel_ma` crate to use it instead of simply NOPing on FreeBSD.

So: more hardware, more testers. Especially *Core Ultra* Intel and newer.

Thanks.
