i still keep reading to this discussion

to me, it doesn't matter

as long as vcs has nice ui. as i'm too young for any other vcs, i only tried svn and hg. i found them really hard

however git was really good. to my knowledge, there's no patented good ui in git which noone else could replicate. how come git has nice ui? i don't have a "git religion" i wish to follow here, i just need a sane tool. any tool

as for running vcs, i like it secure and lightweight. i would prefer everything needed to run vcs could be built in a short time, perhaps it could be done after i've had a snack

but no, this takes twice, hell, *thrice*, as long as whole os, that's a insane vcs. so you take full night sleep and then have another day and in the end of it it's still building

all that, to have a tool to fiddle with repos in size of kilobytes? oh and you also need extra gig+ of additional support components for your tool. that's a lot even for todays hardware. which could be underpowered on purpose too

so what the hell? i mean people other than me, other than fbsd, also use that. do they all use someone's else cpu or disk space or anything else? and it's a dev tool, not user tool. how could anyone accept this, i don't get it
