a) Franco has a long track record of acting like he owns the place and
   being horrible to anyone who disagrees with him or doesn't respond
   well to being ordered around.  The Bugzilla link you provided is a
   stellar example of this.  I can assure you that most FreeBSD
   developers who have interacted with him in the past won't miss him.

b) Do you really think pouring fuel on yet another fire is the right
   move for you at this juncture?
