I think this is caused by empty dirs:
 ls -l
ls: reading directory '.': Invalid argument
total 0
# touch x
# ls -l
total 1
-rw-r--r-- 1 nobody 4294967294 0 Aug 22  2025 x

Can anyone please verify whether FreeBSD NFSv4.1 nfsd works in this release:
