Hi Sairaj, I'd like to weigh in on the Solaris Doors topic (I'm the author of the implementation Warner mentioned). The current implementation is a PoC at best, and is, as noted by David, missing some features. Development is currently at a standstill due to a general lack of spare time and a (probably wrongly) perceived lack of interest around the project, but it isn't abandoned or finished. There is still work to be done, and if this is something you'd like to work on I'd be delighted to discuss this further.
