[...] I understand that, and I share your pain: I've been there myself with code I have maintained for customers. But isn't this a transient problem ? I would expect fusefs, like everything else, to settle down over time ? Also: How many people are we talking about, world-wide ? A dozen ? Four dozens ? Adding Rust to src would inconvenience /everybody/, every time they do a "make buildworld". The solution is not to add Rust to src.
