If that is the ultimate direction of the Go team, it will eventually come in
via compiler updates.  We could pull it in as a patch if necessary but given
the circumstances I would recommend waiting to see if that is the approach they
merge.  With the kernel fixed to retain binary compatibility and an easy
workaround there I don't see a need to rush this.  stable/14 will be fixed
without user involvement after the kernel MFC.
