That would mean bump the value of GO_DEFAULT in
/usr/ports/Mk/bsd.default-versions.mk.


[ WORKAROUND ]

Meanwhile, you can configure it for your system in /etc/make.conf:

DEFAULT_VERSIONS+= go=1.23
