x11/cinnamon-screensaver update to 5.4.4
cinnamon-screensaver is now available in release 5.4.4
The attached diff updates the port for this newer release. Additional changes
- A port option is added for enabling screen locking.
As I've not been able to get this screen locking feature to ever unlock, and
I've seen similar reports from other cinnamon users, I've not enabled this
feature by default.
Perhaps it should be a normal build feature, without an option, for this source
feature to be disabled. It might seem contrary to an interest of user privacy,
to disable this feature in all port builds.
In a guess albeit, perhaps this feature might be particularly oriented to Linux
platforms? Maybe someone has ever found a way to configure the desktop
environment such that the screen can be unlocked, on FreeBSD platforms.
This patch would correspond to a patch to be published shortly, for
x11/cinnamon and other ports from linuxmint in updating to a 5.4 series release
