Not sure if these persist in 5.0 (which I'm not releasing to the tree since 5.2
is already released) so I'll have to take a look the next time I stop my X
session. General note, you should never run a desktop as root, ever.
nemo-desktop enforces it as such:
> nemo-desktop cannot be run as root, please try again as a normal user
