I actually use GNOME on FreeBSD myself also, so I have an incentive to have a
usable desktop.

Previously, GNOME on FreeBSD was poorly maintained, while KDE was very well
maintained, so I tried switching to KDE but didn't like it. No offense to KDE
fans, they have a right to like KDE the way I like GNOME.
