Hey! Looks like this problem has existed for a while now.

I've observed exactly this behaviour very often,
it's especially bad in a large-ish Keycloak setup at $WORK.

I recall throwing some time at the problem with dtrace since
the Firefox internal tracing simply didn't work as advertised.
I ended up deep inside Rust code somewhere around here:

I wonder how the behaviour is on FreeBSD 15 with the new u2f(4) driver,
maybe something changed?
