My notes presume the lack of snapshots at the time.

Also, more of the information presenting commands than 
just the "zfs list" commands I showed could be relevant.

Allowing some time for asynchronous delete activity to 
end up with a measurable difference is likely relevant. 
I've no clue how many deletion queue entries there 
will be --nor what order they might be processed in 
(if they end up processed). Huge entries are probably 
deleted in multiple steps.
