Thanks, I tried your suggestion. It gives the following after reboot:

# bectl list
BE             Active Mountpoint Space Created
default        -      -          748K  2023-06-25 20:19
defaultCleaned NR     /          39.4G 2026-09-13 19:04

# bectl destroy -Fo default
# bectl rename defaultCleaned default
# bectl list
BE      Active Mountpoint Space Created
default NR     /          39.4G 2026-09-13 19:04

So seemingly the same situation as before.
