Also, informing doesn't mean justifying.  My implied wording was "this has been
an annoyance for a while, but this is why I mentioned it now" not "This is
urgent and you need to fix it ASAP!".

Just "this is what made it ride above the level of "nuisance".  I didn't mean
to come off as alarmist.
