hi BEAMers,it's that time of year again, updating default erlang to
OTP26 and cleaning up any detritus.

There seems little point keeping these 2 in tree as they now expect
to be installed per-user in ~/.mix and ~/.hex now:

I'll go ahead and commit these in about a week assuming no issues.
