Hello,

I can confirm that the render node part of this can be fixed on
FreeBSD-15.1-RELEASE by main commit 102adf88e6e8
(https://reviews.freebsd.org/D59190?id=185131).

I tested this by patching sys/compat/linsysfs/linsysfs.c, rebuilt only the
linsysfs module and loaded it in place of the stock one. It works.

Setup: AMD Navi 44 (RX 9060 XT), drm-612-kmod 6.12.85, mango Wayland
compositor, Linux userland Ubuntu 24.04, (Mesa 25.2.8) under the Linuxulator.

Before the patch:
/compat/ubuntu/sys/dev/char had only 226:0
/compat/ubuntu/sys/class/drm/card0/device/drm/ was empty
libdrm failed ("MESA-LOADER: failed to retrieve device information",
"amdgpu_get_auth (1) failed") and the rendering went through llvmpipe.

After the patch:
226:128 and renderD128 both exist, libdrm identifies the render node, and Linux
Mesa renders on the GPU:
$ EGL_PLATFORM=surfaceless eglinfo -B
shows: AMD Radeon Graphics (radeonsi, gfx1200, LLVM 20.1.2, DRM 3.61, 5.15.0)
in the "Device platform/Device #0" section
