I would suggest to "underscore"
virtualbox-ose-71/files/patch-src-VBox-Additions-common-VBoxGuest-VBoxGuest-freebsd.c
for consistency.

vboxfs doesn't work. It bails out upon module load with:

link_elf_obj: symbol sfprov_mount undefined
linker_load_file: /boot/modules/vboxvfs.ko - unsupported file type
