Please opt for superior 7.1.4. Both versions are: 

* release quality
* actively maintained. 

If we make 7.0.⋯ the norm – without certainty that 7.1.⋯ will be ported in good
time – then a hole into which we dig ourselves may arrive far too soon. 

Consider <https://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Download_Old_Builds>: 

* support for 6.0 ended three-and-a-half years earlier than 
  the end for 6.1.

In any case, thanks to everyone who helps FreeBSD to get back on track with
VirtualBox.
