Bug ID: 299724
Summary: FreeBSD Handbook - Virtualization / Jailing Bhyve:
missing vmmctl in devfs.rules & volmode=dev in zfs
create
Product: Documentation
Version: Latest
Hardware: amd64
OS: Any
Status: New
Severity: Affects Some People
Priority: ---
Component: Books & Articles

In 25.7.9.1. (Creating a Jail for bhyve), this devfs rule seems to be missing
in general:
=> add path 'vmmctl' unhide
without this line, i did not manage to create a vm with `bhyvectl --create
--vm=bhyvevm0`.
In the third command block of chapter 25.7.9.1., the creation of a zvol is
given by `zfs create -V 20G zroot/vms/bhyvevm0`, but this always led me into
input/output error when choosing a drive during installation of either FreeBSD
or Debian.
Instead, it should be `# zfs create -V10G -o volmode=dev zroot/vms/bhyvevm0`,
setting the option volmode=dev as in 25.8.3. or 25.7.7.
