The workaround in the release note is authoratative and must show a supported
workaround. If there is a supported path, then this text is wrong and I would
love to update it. However, what I have consistently heard including in this
thread is that we are not supporting any path of upgrading pkgbase systems from
14x to 15x. Therefore, the statement that the operator must backup and
reinstall as the supported path is absolutely correct.
