There is no backlink to that page from anywhere. And if someone is reading that
by modifying an existing link and anticipating that is the 15.0 Release note
that is their thought process. There has been no official announcement of
15.0-RELEASE(except the ALPHA) yet and if still someone reads that there is
nothing we can do about it. The release not is linked to the main page during
the final announcement only.
In most of the open source world most softwares lands in the CDN long before
the release announcement is made and if someone is using that software without
the announcement they are doing it at their risks.
So let's say that we release 15.0R and it reaches the CDNs. Then we test all
sort of things specially update methods, downloads and everything before the
final announcement goes out. We have made changes to artifacts after final
image builds and before announcements. But if someone is monitoring the URLs
and downloading a wrong image that is someone else's problem.
Thanks for the pointers of the release cadence details which will be added
accordingly.
