Hello Eric,

First of all, thank you very much for your interest in contributing to
FreeBSD :)

To start, I think it would be best if you read the FDP[1].
There you can learn how to work with the documentation, the tools you
need to install, etc.

Once you're clear on everything and want to make a change, you need to
send us the patch.
Where can you send it?

Well, you have several options:
- If you're used to working with Github, submit a PR [2]
- Another option is to create a new report in Bugzilla [3]
- Or finally, open a review in [4]
