            Bug ID: 285517
Summary: Clarification needed: BASIC-CI meaning deeply unclear.
                    Cloud instance/continuous integration? Something else?
           Product: Documentation
           Version: Latest
          Hardware: Any
                OS: Any
            Status: New
          Severity: Affects Many People
          Priority: ---
         Component: Website
          Assignee: doc@FreeBSD.org
          Reporter: paul@paulgupta.org
BASIC-CI is not defined on https://www.freebsd.org/where/ which is where many
new users will find themselves stumped on which version to download, myself
included.
It is not defined on the page.
Nor the linked README
(https://download.freebsd.org/releases/VM-IMAGES/README.txt)
Nor on any of the Documentation such as:
https://www.freebsd.org/releases/#current
https://www.freebsd.org/releases/14.2R/relnotes/
https://www.freebsd.org/releases/14.2R/readme/
https://www.freebsd.org/releases/14.2R/hardware/
https://www.freebsd.org/releases/14.2R/installation/
https://www.freebsd.org/releases/14.2R/errata/
https://www.freebsd.org/releases/14.2R/signatures/
Please define project specific technical terms next to where it is first used
on a page, or at least on the README or in the linked docs.
I figured it out by googling and reading a Reddit post, only 90% sure that
BASIC-CI is for cloud instances? Or it's a continuous integration edition? I'm
not sure. Please clarify.
