Glen Barber
Product: Documentation

Hardware: Any
OS: Any

Severity: Affects Many People
Priority: ---

Dear DOC committers,
I was surprised this month when I realized that the scarlet letter of Glen
Barber had been removed from the website.
https://www.freebsd.org/community/seek-help.asc
Glen (gjb) was a GREAT FreeBSD contributor (port/src commiter and release eng).
You probably knew him much better than I did.
He published a letter on Nov/2023 before leave FreeBSD project, which was
attached to the FreeBSD website above, about depression, and mental health,
last
Please see on announce:
https://lists.freebsd.org/archives/freebsd-announce/2023-November/000102.html
He wrote this letter, a last and courageous plea for help.
Depression, anxiety, problems with substances and mental health have been a
problem, which should not be ignored or removed. It MUST be maintained to serve
as a warning, so that people take care of themselves and the people they love.
So, please, put back on https://www.freebsd.org/community/seek-help.asc his
letter.
We will never forget.
