I have decided to reinstall, and am back at the section in question.  The
options are:

No
package
found
for
device
0x1616
wifi-firmware-iwlwifi-kmod-7000

Meanwhile, firmware seems to be missing from the system when I finish the
install, so I find myself wondering if this section is the culprit..  no idea.
